Do you ever interact with people online, and wonder what they are like in real life?
People I look up to in the twitter verse have such a depth of knowledge, when I read their tweets I have this sense of seeing only the tip of their knowledge iceberg. Just once, I wanted to go down the rabbit hole of conversation, and peel back a tweet to understand what is below the surface.
Well I had that opportunity earlier with Jameson Lopp. To give you a sense of the depth of knowledge this man has on bitcoin and cryptocurrencies, just go to the bitcoin resources page of his website. It is one of the best resources out there IMO, and links to not just his writing but other great thinkers in the space.
So I decided to ask Jameson to explain in greater detail what he meant by this tweet:
If you approach Bitcoin as if it's just a:
* developer platform
* science experiment
* social network
… you're gonna have a bad time. Bitcoin is a chimera and should be approached with a humble, flexible perspective.

In the video, he references this article he wrote on coin desk.
